I loved that it was just a two-minute walk to Kyoto Station, making it super easy to hop on trains for day trips, and the tranquil Kyoto National Museum is only about 1 km away for a lovely stroll through the gardens.

Clean and comfortable single non-smoking room, conveniently located just a short walk from the train station. Appreciated the Shiseido toiletries and a surprisingly large TV in such a compact space. The only downside was the small size of the bathroom which may not be suitable for larger individuals. No breakfast included, but there is a café in the lobby that serves good options.

Okay, so the price was a bit steep with Sakura season in full swing, and the room was tighter than a sushi roll. Also, parking was a head-scratcher, so skip the hotel garage and hit the coin lot next door for a flat rate.
